His sire is the magnificent stallion Tall Dark N Radical (imp USA) Q-41653 and his mother, Blue Dixie Chick, is by the well known stallion, Blue Denim Zipper (imp USA). What a combination!! Also featuring in the pedigree are Millbrook Vapour Trail, Zippo Pine Bar, Hotrodders Jet Set, Tiger Leo and Three Bars - all the industry greats. He has excellent straight legs, a strong back, good length of rein and a beautiful big round hindquarter.

Carbine is still the highest scoring colt at the AWHA Licensing, ever. He is also Performance Tested. He won the 5yo Champion of Champions Q’ld Young Dressage Horse, as did his daughter Jaybee Colleen, some years later. Colleen was also 4 and 5 year old Champion at the Sydney CDI***.
Carbine is a very successful Showhorse, having been Supreme Champion Warmblood Exhibit twice at both Sydney and Brisbane Royal Shows. His progeny, Jaybee Colleen and Jaybee Collette have also been Supreme Champion in Sydney.
Another daughter, Jaybee Callista was AWHA National mare in 2004.
Carbine is producing very beautiful show and dressage horses. However it is as a sire of eventers that he is also making a mark. One recent comment by a leading rider “They are really bold and fast cross-country, and catch the eye in the dressage phase. A growing list of eventers is appearing in the nominations namely Jaybee Cadence, Jaybee Carobus, Jaybee Calypso, Jaybee Crackerjack and Jaybee Celebrity Star.

Khaans Sire Amir El Shaklan ( dec ) previously known as Australia's Leading Arabian Sire is the sire of 18 National Halter Championship progeny worldwide, 10 National Reserve Champions and the grandsire and sire of countless National Champion Top Ten winners. By the age of 5 he had won 23 Supreme Championship awards.
